When planning your essay, you should be aware of what items you put in each section.
The first part of the Essay is Introduction. Introduction is very important because it create immediate impact on IELTS examiner. Write the introduction and analyze the following things:
• Understand the subject of essay
• Impact of introduction on you
• Must be too attractive to force you read rest of ideas in the essay.
I always advise my students to keep the formula in mind when you write an introduction:
1. Write a general statement or neutral on the subject.
2. Re-writing the statements of the task in your own words:
(You obviously will not be given any credit for the simple copy; you must show that you understand the task)

Attitudes toward smoking have changed over the last thirty years. (1) A result of this is that some companies do not allow smoking in their premises and that some governments have banned smoking in public places. (2).
